Phd in Transportation Econometrics and Demand Modeling
OpenThis dissertation is part of the MISTERE project, which aims to optimize mobility networks and urban components under energy constraints by 2030, 2040, and 2050. It is part of an effort to move beyond traditional sector-based approaches by proposing an integrated model structured around three interdependent dimensions: the mobility system, land use planning, and energy consumption. In this context, the research focuses on addressing several major scientific challenges, including the redesign of transportation systems to make them more efficient and resilient, the greening of vehicle fleets to reduce their environmental footprint, and the identification of energy-saving opportunities at various scales. It also incorporates interurban projects, particularly SERMs, while taking into account urban and regulatory changes such as low-emission zones (LEZs) or the goal of zero net land take (ZAN). Finally, the dissertation is part of a broader discussion on changing patterns of use, marked by the growth of active mobility, Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions, autonomous vehicles, and the electrification of transportation.
